We are excited to share with you that Dr. Karhade was the recipient of the prestigious resident recognition award at the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) conference in San Diego, CA! Dr. Karhade has been involved as a leader and dental provider in Give Kids a Smile for the past seven years. She has participated in Special Olympics Alternative Dental Experiences for athletes during the pandemic and has developed an up-to-date, scientifically based algorithm for tooth autotransplantation.

Additionally, Dr. Karhade’s research has been recognized internationally and she has been an invited speaker at the Google Cloud Government and Education Summit and the International Academy of Pediatric Dentistry’s ‘YIAPD- We Are the Future’ panel. She has authored three textbook chapters including one on machine learning in oral health genomics and has advocated for children’s oral health at the national level.
