Dr. Deepti Karhade is a Pediatric Dentist at Bubble Children’s Dentistry and Orthodontics. She received her DMD from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and completed her residency in pediatric dentistry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
The Childhood of Dr. Karhade
Since her childhood, Dr. Karhade has been a classically trained vocalist with multiple invited performances internationally. In their free time, Dr. Karhade and her husband Dr. Aditya Karhade loves spending time outdoors with their golden retriever, Simba.
She has always envisioned a great life for herself, and knew from a young age that she was going to work hard to achieve it.
Dr. Karhade’s Educational Background
During residency, Dr. Karhade developed an algorithm for Early Childhood Caries (ECC), which has since been featured by Google as a cloud computing case study. Additionally, her work has been recognized by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry on several occasions. As a first-year resident, Dr. Karhade was the recipient of the Ralph E McDonald award, presented to the most outstanding researcher by a resident or recent graduate of Pediatric Dentistry. Most recently, Dr. Karhade was invited to share her work at the Google Cloud Government and Education Summit and was featured in the ‘YIAPD – We are the Future’ session by the International Association of Pediatric Dentistry.
During her training, Dr. Karhade served as the chief resident in pediatric dentistry at UNC and was the recipient of scholarships from the American Dental Education Association, GlaxoSmithKline, Tylenol, and the Dental Trade Alliance (DTA) foundation. In addition, she serves as the director of strategy for 2 Minute Medicine, a physician led medical media company.
