Nitrous oxide, sometimes referred to as “Laughing Gas,” is a frequent dental procedure used by our knowledgeable pediatric dentist at Bubble Children’s Dentistry for simpler dental procedures like cleanings, sealants, and cavity fillings. The gas is applied via a mask that covers your child’s nose, causing them to relax and become peaceful but not unconscious. General anesthesia can be used to erase treatment memories during larger procedures or when treating many teeth. Comprehensive dental work, such as x-rays, fillings, crowns, and cleanings, is carried out while your child is under anesthesia, with an emphasis on reducing trauma and anxiety to ensure a happy and comfortable experience.
