Dr. Joshua Hurlburt (“Dr. Josh”) grew up in a small town in Michigan and is a double Wolverine having graduated with both his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Modern European Studies and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the top-rated University of Michigan – Ann Arbor. Go Blue! Dr. Josh finished up his pediatric dentistry residency at the prestigious Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2022, where he received his Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Josh is passionate about the development and oral health of children and is committed to having each and every child have a positive interaction while visiting the dentist. Dr. Josh has a warm, enthusiastic and caring personality that allows him to provide a fun, comfortable, and educational experience for children and parents alike.
In his free time, Dr. Josh loves exploring New England, working out, and streaming his favorite tv shows and movies. You might even see Dr. Josh jogging around Boston, as it is one of his favorite ways of seeing the city.
Dr. Athena Seegert

Dr. Athena Seegert knew from a young age that she wanted to share the same wonderful experiences she enjoyed during frequent visits to her pediatric dentist. She discovered her gift and passion for making a difference in children’s lives when she volunteered as a camp counselor for children with special needs. In high school and college, she enjoyed volunteering her time promoting oral health in various learning centers and local elementary schools.
When you and your child meet with Dr. Seegert (known by her patients as “Dr. Athena”), you can expect compassionate and comprehensive care, clear communication, and genuine commitment to your child’s well-being. Dr. Athena cherishes creating welcoming, nurturing, and playful experiences for each child, and she is grateful that she can provide this opportunity to her patients. She is devoted to preventive care and early diagnosis to help ensure overall health and well-being.
Dr. Athena was awarded her D.M.D. degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine after completing her undergraduate education with high honors in English and Latin with a pre-dental concentration at The College of the Holy Cross. Dr. Athena completed her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Washington / Children’s Hospital and Regional Medical Center in Seattle, and her Masters of Science in Dentistry from the University of Washington in Seattle.
Dr. Seegert is a certified Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and she is an active member of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, College of Diplomates of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, and Massachusetts Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Seegert also maintains a courtesy staff position at Franciscan Hospital for Children.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading, fitness, cooking, and spending time with her husband, two daughters, and her extremely enthusiastic and lovable dog.
Dr. Nicole Etcheverry

Dr. Etcheverry is a dedicated and compassionate pediatric dentist with a passion for creating positive dental experiences for children. Dr. Etcheverry firmly believes in fostering a welcoming and comfortable environment, ensuring that children feel at ease during their dental visits. With a warm and friendly demeanor, Dr. Etcheverry skillfully communicates with children, helping them understand the importance of oral hygiene while alleviating any anxieties they may have.
Dr. Etcheverry received her Doctoral in Dental Medicine (D.M.D) from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She completed her Certificate of Pediatric Dentistry from the same university. As a pediatric dentist, Dr. Etcheverry has undergone specialized training in child psychology and behavior management techniques. This expertise allows Dr. Etcheverry to offer gentle and effective dental treatments, from routine check-ups and cleanings to restorative procedures, all while maintaining a supportive and fun atmosphere.
Dr. Etcheverry values education and actively keeps up with the latest advancements in pediatric dentistry. By staying abreast of the latest research and technologies. Dr. Etcheverry is currently a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the American Dental Association.
Committed to creating a positive impact on children’s oral health, Dr. Etcheverry actively participates in community outreach programs, schools, and local events. Dr. Etcheverry believes that instilling good dental habits from an early age can lead to a lifetime of healthy smiles.
When Dr. Etcheverry is not singing Disney songs with her patients, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and baking. She spends her free time with her family, friends, and her two dogs (Sophie and Sky).

Dr. Charu Swamy

Dr. Charu Swamy is an Orthodontist at Bubble Children’s and Orthodontics. She grew up in Ohio where she obtained her bachelor’s degree, along with her Master’s Degree in Bioethics at Case Western Reserve University. She attended Ohio State University College of Dentistry, graduating with top honors and numerous awards. Dr Swamy completed her residency in the specialty of Orthodontics at Ohio State University.
Dr. Swamy has been practicing in private practice for over 10 years and is a 2021 winner of Boston’s Magazine’s Top Dentist. She specializes in all types of orthodontic treatment, including conventional straight-wire/self-ligation braces appliances, Invisalign ®, orthognathic surgery, cleft-palate orthodontics, soft tissue lasers, TAD supported mechanics, and functional appliances as well as other advanced techniques.
She is fluent in English, Hindi, and American Sign language. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking, cooking, and traveling.
